Victory Records is proud to announce the signing of Connecticut hardcore heavyweights WITH HONOR. Formed in 2002, the group has a created a powerful and unique style of spirited hardcore with melody. Wasting no time after their formation, WITH HONOR teamed up with Stillborn Records to release their self-titled debut and more notably 2004’s “Heart Means Everything”. WITH HONOR has toured incessantly in support of the aforementioned releases with bands like Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, and H20 and has blown fans away at festivals like New England Metalfest and Hellfest. With the buzz on WITH HONOR building with unremitting force and three releases under their belts (including their split with The Distance released in January on Martyr Records), WITH HONOR and Victory Records decided it was time to team up. Theundergroundscene.net says, “In a time where anything retro seems to be in, WITH HONOR is a very retro band, bringing back old school hardcore to the forefront and embracing a time where message meant more than image". hmm, i really suck at managing money, well not really, for my credit card statement of december there have been so many credits/charges that made me go further down while being in debt, i had to literally fill up my tank by the penny, and to top it off an 18 month ipod financed..

today i got went on a self-christmas present buying spree(not really...)
got a 40g apple ipod, accessories. i am nearly $600 in debt now and have it financed to where i can pay it off in 18 months... sweet.
im such an idiot to do this when i am not even financially secure

i feel that i have been neglecting a part of my life that has done so much for me in terms of keeping me drug free, pushing me to keep a positive outlook on life, pushing me to constantly fight to make myself a better person. I have been missing so many great shows lately, i dont mind spending most of my money to support something that i truly love and now i dont even have the choice to do that since i am in debt. I dont know a lot of people within the community and constantly feel out of place at times but the fact that bands out there are putting out a message that inspires me to be who i am and to strive for what i see as right makes me feel somewhat in place even if the community can be unwelcoming at times. anyways, im 100% sure on going to watch the world explode fest and there is nothing stopping me. this entry sucked, im off to work now.

my plans for st loius were so solid for today, but i forgot one thing.. calculate gas expenses so i chose to not risk it since it would have sucked to be stranded on the highway
byd/dtf was ok tonight, i dont even know why bother to see shows at hob anymore... byds set was ok they played more of their new songs which i didnt like. 1 minute into the opening song i fuck up my right pinkie and spend the rest of the night on the floor with a throbbing right pinkie. hob security is so lame, they came down to the floor many times to "regulate" and a lot of kids got kicked out too... bullshit.in addittion to byd's set. mosh n roll was so fucking weak tonight, compared to the other times ive seen em.
anyways so many kids had on GREAT costumes tonight i seriously couldnt tell if they came as they were or if they were dressed up, what a crowd atreyu brings. im hoping this will be my last hob visit for a show. dead to fall didnt open with prologue, they brought out a cover, and again the floor sucked, i got a dive in during their set and whoa was i being eyeballed by the security, i felt like bait being viewed by a fish! didnt stay for atreyu.. need i explain? anyways
this update sucks, enough of complaining, thats what i get for going to a fucking hob show where atreyu headlined

i didnt know drowningman was on the bill for tonight, well i missed them, misery signals put on a good set closed with the year summer ended in june, i dont really like zao so i didnt pay much attention to them, etid had an ac/dc thunderstruck intro but messed up on it....i had some fun during etid's set messing around on the floor with a few other guys who knew what they were doing, dillinger was ok
